In July 2015, Quadrum acquired a 32 acre site for a resort-style senior living and related commercial development, located in Fort Myers, FL. This acquisition marked Quadrum’s entrance into the growing senior housing market and has been the launch property for Amavida, a new senior living brand combining Quadrum’s boutique hospitality and multi-family background which has created a unique, resort living product for seniors.
The greenfield development site comprised 460 senior housing units (Independent Living / Assisted Living / Memory Care) as well as 100,000 sf of commercial and retail opportunity.
Amavida was sold in June 2024.
