Formerly Hotel Continental, this previously 3-star beachfront property, originally built in 1950s, was acquired in April 2011 as part of the distressed sale by RFR and Ian Shrager.

A+ location directly on the beach and Atlantic Ocean in the heart of Miami’s South Beach Art Deco district, 2 blocks from Lincoln Road pedestrian way, 2 blocks from Miami Beach Convention Center, 15 min from Miami downtown and 12 miles from Miami airport.

During an extensive renovation from purchase, Quadrum brought back the hotel’s historic name, “Nautilus”, later rebranded as "Nautilus by Arlo". Quadrum meticulously restored the property to preserve the architectural art deco legacy of its original architect Morris Lapidus, while also upgrading it to modern standards of South Beach lifestyle hotels.

This hotel was successfully sold in June 2023.
